| Renovated Kitchen Area |
CEES students returning for the fall 2015 semester were
greeted by a big surprise when they discovered that the student team room in
Carson Engineering Center, fondly referred to as S-20” underwent extensive
renovations over the summer. In addition
to upgrading 12 workstations and wifi coverage, the room now includes two
collaboration tables with flat panel screens, a charging station and a refrigerator
and microwave. Funding for the project
was provided by generous alumni donations, the CEES Visiting Council, CEES faculty and staff and AM Squared Construction.
Students are greatly appreciative of their new
“home-away-from-home” as evidenced by the hand painted thank you “card” they
presented to CEES director Randy
Kolar in class.
