On
September 26, the OU WaTER Center hosted its Fourth Biennial Water Symposium at
Gaylord Hall on the OU campus where Peter Lochery was announced as the winner
of the 2015 OU International Water Prize. Lochery, a founding board member of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Advocates

Health in Nigeria and leading advocacy groups such as CARE and Millennium Water
Alliance.
Lochery will formally receive the Water Prize and give the plenary lecture at the OU International WaTER Conference scheduled for Sept. 21-23, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma. The conference theme "Off the Grid: Sustainable Water and Sanitation in a Non-Networked World" is designed to bring together participants from multiple disciplines responding to the UN Millennium Development Goals of bringing water and sanitation to developing countries. Attendees will include water and sanitation experts from academia, industry, NGOs, government and foundations; we anticipate over 200 participants from 20 or more countries. We look forward to seeing you there!
